The Founder – Priyansh Gupta
Priyansh Gupta, a graduate of Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, envisioned PeerX as a solution to the challenges faced by students in accessing career opportunities. His entrepreneurial journey took an unexpected turn on Shark Tank India Season 5 Campus Special.
During his pitch, Gupta showcased PeerX’s potential but did not secure investment from the panel. However, his approach and execution impressed judge Pratham Mittal, who offered him something different — a role in the Founder’s Office at Masters’ Union. Mittal believed that working in a hands-on environment would benefit Gupta more than funding at this stage.
Gupta accepted the offer, turning a missed funding deal into a unique career opportunity. Today, he is working on product development and strategic initiatives at Masters’ Union, gaining invaluable experience while continuing to refine PeerX’s vision.
