In a world overflowing with information, PeerX simplifies the search by curating handpicked, relevant opportunities. Whether you’re a first-year student exploring paths or a final-year student preparing for your next big break, PeerX acts as a launchpad for growth, awareness, and community.

The Founder – Priyansh Gupta

Priyansh Gupta, a graduate of Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, envisioned PeerX as a solution to the challenges faced by students in accessing career opportunities. His entrepreneurial journey took an unexpected turn on Shark Tank India Season 5 Campus Special.

During his pitch, Gupta showcased PeerX’s potential but did not secure investment from the panel. However, his approach and execution impressed judge Pratham Mittal, who offered him something different — a role in the Founder’s Office at Masters’ Union. Mittal believed that working in a hands-on environment would benefit Gupta more than funding at this stage.

Gupta accepted the offer, turning a missed funding deal into a unique career opportunity. Today, he is working on product development and strategic initiatives at Masters’ Union, gaining invaluable experience while continuing to refine PeerX’s vision.

Philosophy & Mission

PeerX is built on the belief that students learn best from each other. Its mission is to:

  • Empower students with access to curated opportunities.
  • Simplify discovery of internships, hackathons, and events.
  • Build community through peer-to-peer learning and skill exchange.
  • Reduce uncertainty by ensuring students never miss out on what matters most for their growth.

Shark Tank India S5 Outcome

The Shark Tank India Season 5 episode highlighted a rare outcome: instead of funding, Gupta received mentorship and a career opportunity. This moment underscored the importance of environment and guidance in early-stage entrepreneurship.

Pratham Mittal’s decision reflected a belief that PeerX’s potential could be maximized by giving Gupta exposure to product-building and strategic thinking in a real-world setting.

PeerX

Impact & Vision

PeerX is not just a product; it’s a movement to empower students through access, awareness, and community. By bridging the gap between scattered opportunities and student needs, PeerX aims to become the go-to platform for career growth in India’s student ecosystem.

Gupta’s journey — from pitching on Shark Tank to joining Masters’ Union — reflects the resilience and adaptability of young entrepreneurs. His vision for PeerX continues to evolve, driven by the mission to make career opportunities simpler, smarter, and more accessible.

Closing Thought

PeerX is redefining how students discover opportunities, blending peer-to-peer learning with curated career pathways. Founded by Priyansh Gupta, the platform is a testament to youthful innovation and persistence. While Shark Tank India didn’t bring funding, it opened doors to mentorship and growth, proving that sometimes the best investment is in experience.
