Founded by Ishan Pansuria, Toska Chocolates is an artisan, gourmet, and luxury bean-to-bar chocolate brand that brings nostalgia and purity back to chocolate-making. Inspired by the Russian word “toska” — meaning a longing for one’s homeland or cherished memories — Toska’s chocolates are crafted to evoke the same emotions when savored.

Every bar is meticulously handcrafted in small batches at Toska’s Ahmedabad factory, using only single-origin cacao beans, cane sugar, and no artificial flavors or vegetable fat. This commitment to purity ensures chocolates that are honest, soulful, and of uncompromising quality.

Ishan’s journey into chocolate began after completing his civil engineering degree and briefly joining his father’s chemical business. His passion for fine chocolates led him to Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy in Mumbai, where he learned the art and science of chocolate-making. It was here that he realized the shortage of pure, high-quality chocolates in India and decided to explore the cacao industry.

The result was Toska’s bean-to-bar process, where every step — from sourcing raw cacao beans to crafting the finished bar — is controlled by the chocolate maker. This ensures transparency, authenticity, and a unique flavor profile that reflects the origin of the beans.

Working closely with organic farmers, Toska sources only the finest cacao beans, supporting sustainable farming practices while delivering extraordinary chocolate experiences. Each bar is more than a product; it is a story of care, love, and honesty.

Ishan Pansuria, founder of Toska Chocolates

Toska Chocolates stands apart in India’s growing premium chocolate market by focusing on craftsmanship and authenticity rather than mass production. Its chocolates are designed to be indulgent yet pure, offering consumers a taste that is both luxurious and deeply personal.

The brand’s philosophy is rooted in nostalgia and emotion. Just as ghee or spices evoke memories of home, Toska’s chocolates are meant to transport consumers to cherished moments, making every bite a soulful experience.

Looking ahead, Toska Chocolates aims to expand its reach across India and globally, positioning itself as a premium Indian chocolate brand that competes with international names while staying true to its artisanal roots.
