Founded by Vibhor Kataria and Rishel Puri, Grainzz is a modern Indian snack brand built to make better snacking easier and more exciting. The two young entrepreneurs first met during their bachelor’s at JIMS Vasant Kunj and later pursued their MBA from Delhi Technological University. Their journey began like many young professionals — long workdays, late evenings, and endless conversations about what they could build on their own.
The idea for Grainzz came from a simple observation: India snacks all the time. Office breaks, travel, study sessions, IPL nights, family time, and late-night work calls all had one thing in common — snacks. But the choices were limited, often between something tasty but heavy, or something healthy but boring. Vibhor and Rishel saw this gap and decided to fill it.
Grainzz uses familiar Indian grains like ragi, bajra, jowar, oats, quinoa, beetroot, and puffed rice to create snack formats that feel modern, flavourful, and easy to repeat. The current range includes Ragi Chips, Beetroot Chips, Oats Chips, Jowar Puffs, Bajra Puffs, Quinoa Puffs, and flavoured puffed rice packets. Flavours are built for Indian taste preferences, with names like Masala Masti, Chatpata Punch, Smoky Barbeque, Royal Mint, Tandoori Masala, and Creamy Onion Bliss.
The brand focuses on no palm oil, 0g trans fat, zero cholesterol, real grains, and no maida in chips. This balance of taste and health is what makes Grainzz stand out in India’s crowded snacking market.
Unlike traditional FMCG companies, Grainzz is being built in public. The founders have shared their Blinkit onboarding journey, warehouse submissions, collaborations with 30+ micro creators, and unorthodox marketing experiments. This transparency has helped them connect with consumers and build trust early in their journey.
In just six months, Grainzz has reached Amazon and Blinkit, sold over 10,000 puffed rice packets, and generated ₹3 lakh in Diwali gifting revenue. The brand has also been featured on Doordarshan and received appreciation from comedian Rahul Dua, adding credibility and visibility to its story.
Grainzz is now entering the corporate snacking space, building for Diwali gifting, office pantry placements, vending machines, and employee engagement. By offering modern snack boxes, Grainzz aims to replace predictable corporate gifts like sweets and dry fruits with healthier, more enjoyable options.
At its core, Grainzz is about redefining India’s grain-based story. Millets and puffed rice are not new, but Grainzz is presenting them in a way that fits 2026 — making ragi exciting, bajra modern, and puffed rice a hero ingredient. The brand’s ambition is clear: to become the go-to choice for better snacking in homes, offices, and celebrations across India.
