Suhi – A Modern Indian Label Rooted in Craft

Founded by Priyanshi, Suhi is a Jaipur-based fashion label redefining what it means to wear Indian craft. Suhi is not ethnic wear, not fusion, and certainly not fast fashion with motifs slapped on top. It is what happens when craft is taken seriously — treated as the soul of the garment, not just decoration.

The name Suhi carries legacy and love, drawn from two women: Sudha, Priyanshi’s mother, and Priyanshi herself. Growing up surrounded by textiles, Priyanshi spent her childhood in her mother’s boutique, watching tailors bring sketches to life. As a teenager, she picked up sewing as a hobby, making her own clothes, and eventually turning her passion into Suhi.

Suhi’s philosophy is simple: slow fashion, on purpose. Every piece is made to order, by hand, by tailors the brand knows and trusts. There are no rushed factory lines, no compromises on quality. If it takes longer, it’s because it’s being made properly — with care, precision, and respect for craft.

The brand is built for women who don’t ask for permission. Suhi’s designs embody confidence, individuality, and strength, celebrating women who embrace authenticity and refuse to be boxed into categories.

By working directly with artisans, Suhi ensures that craft is preserved, respected, and elevated. Each garment is a collaboration between designer and maker, carrying forward traditions while adapting them for modern wardrobes.

Suhi’s approach challenges the norms of fast fashion. Instead of chasing trends, it focuses on timeless pieces that blend heritage with contemporary design, proving that sustainability and style can coexist beautifully.

The brand’s ethos is rooted in Jaipur’s rich textile culture, but its vision is global. Suhi aims to showcase Indian craftsmanship to the world, positioning it not as a niche but as a powerful, relevant force in modern fashion.

Looking ahead, Suhi continues to grow as a label that values authenticity, sustainability, and empowerment. Every garment tells a story — of craft, of heritage, and of women who wear their confidence unapologetically.
