Lxme, India’s first financial platform built exclusively for women, has raised funding led by Kalaari Capital through its CXXO initiative, which invests in emerging women entrepreneurs. The round also saw participation from notable investors including Yash Kela of Founders Collective Fund, Amaya Ventures, the family office of Amit Khanna, Capri Holdings, Aditi Kothari of DSP, and others.

Founded by Priti Rathi Gupta, Lxme is on a mission to help India’s 280 million working women save, spend, borrow, and achieve financial independence. The platform provides an all-in-one ecosystem designed to make women financially fearless and ready to take charge of their money.
Priti Rathi Gupta, an alumna of Harvard Business School, brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She has been recognized for setting up the Commodities Desk, Currency, and Forex Advisory Business, and continues to champion equitable access to wealth for women. Her leadership has earned Lxme recognition in Her Majesty the Queen’s Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album and the ‘Warrior of Change’ award at the Annual Impact Creator Awards 2021.
Joining her is Ridhi Kanoria Doongursee, Co-founder of Lxme, who brings over 15 years of experience across fintech, ecommerce, and startups. A two-time founder, Ridhi is passionate about enabling women to overcome unconscious biases and socio-economic conditioning to achieve true financial independence.
Lxme’s vision is deeply rooted in the belief that financial freedom is the foundation of empowerment. By creating a platform tailored to women’s needs, Lxme is addressing gaps in financial literacy, access, and confidence that have historically held women back.
The platform offers structured solutions across saving, investing, borrowing, and spending, ensuring that women can manage their finances with clarity and confidence. Its community-driven approach also fosters peer learning and support, making financial independence a shared journey.
With fresh funding, Lxme plans to enhance its technology, expand its reach, and strengthen customer experience. The backing from Kalaari Capital and other investors underscores the growing importance of women-focused financial solutions in India’s startup ecosystem.
Looking ahead, Lxme aims to become the go-to financial platform for women across India, empowering millions to take charge of their money and build a future of financial freedom.
