Eda Baby & Child (edababycare) was founded by Dr. Sonali Kohli, a dermatologist and mother, along with Rohan Rai. Together, they created the brand to provide safe, dermatologically tested, and affordable baby skincare products designed specifically for Indian skin, water, and climate.

👶 Eda Baby & Child: Redefining Baby Skincare in India

🌟 The Founders

Eda Baby & Child, popularly known as edababycare, is the brainchild of Dr. Sonali Kohli and Rohan Rai.

  • Dr. Sonali Kohli is a board-certified dermatologist with over a decade of experience. As both a doctor and a mother, she noticed a major gap in the baby skincare market—most products were either too harsh, not suited for Indian conditions, or lacked medical credibility. Her personal journey of caring for her newborn inspired her to create products that combine medical expertise with a mother’s touch.
  • Rohan Rai, her co-founder, brought in the entrepreneurial drive and strategic vision to scale the brand. Together, they built a company that blends science, safety, and love into every product.

💡 The Idea Behind Eda

The inspiration for edababycare came from a simple but powerful observation: baby skincare in India was outdated and often unsafe. Traditional routines of massaging, bathing, and moisturizing were deeply cultural, but the products available were not always dermatologically sound.

Dr. Kohli wanted to change this by creating clinically tested, pediatric-approved, and environmentally responsible products that parents could trust.

🧴 What Makes Eda Different

  • Dermatologist & Pediatrician Tested – Every product is backed by science.
  • Tailored for Indian Skin & Climate – Formulated to suit local conditions.
  • Safe Ingredients – Free from harmful chemicals, parabens, and toxins.
  • Community-Centric – Beyond products, Eda builds a community around medical truths and parental support.

🌍 Mission and Vision

The founders’ mission is clear: to make baby skincare safe, joyful, and stress-free. Their vision is to transform everyday routines like bath time into bonding experiences while ensuring the child’s delicate skin gets the best care possible.

Eda Baby & Child is not just a skincare brand—it’s a movement towards conscious parenting, where science and love go hand in hand.

From a mother’s concern to a dermatologist’s expertise, and with entrepreneurial vision, edababycare is setting new standards in baby skincare across India.
