Founded in 2024 by Nikesh Bisht (CEO), Sushmita Patil (COO), Ankit Kumar (CTO), Abhilasha Marmat (CTO), and Yashdeep Singh (CPO), Blinq Mobility is building a seamless zero-emission ecosystem powered by electric vehicles, AI-driven battery swapping, and microfactories for sustainable urban mobility.
The founding team shares a unique background — they were part of IIT Delhi’s AXLR8R Formula Racing team, where they designed, built, and raced Formula-style electric cars at international competitions. Those years on the racing circuit taught them how to engineer reliable EVs from scratch, lead diverse teams, manage limited resources, and innovate under pressure.
Today, Blinq Mobility is channeling that experience into the city streets. Their first product, the Blinq Pod, is a lightweight, modular electric vehicle equipped with less than 5-minute swappable batteries. Built for ride-hailing, it delivers safe, comfortable, and affordable rides without the downtime of charging.
The company’s mission is clear: to make EVs the default choice of commute for the masses. By overcoming range anxiety, charging downtime, and high upfront costs, Blinq aims to make electric vehicles better than internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles in every way.
Blinq Mobility’s battery swapping technology allows instant refueling — drivers can leave with a fully charged battery in less than five minutes, just like filling petrol. This innovation directly addresses one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.
Designed for urban life, the Blinq Pod is compact for crowded streets yet roomy enough for comfort. Safety is built into its core, while efficiency ensures it fits seamlessly into the everyday rhythm of city commuting.
Another breakthrough is the lower vehicle cost model. With Blinq, drivers own the car while the battery comes as a service. This reduces upfront costs by nearly 40%, making EV ownership easier and ROI faster for drivers and fleet operators.
Finally, Blinq Mobility is engineered for energy efficiency, cutting running costs by over 60%. Every ride becomes smarter, more sustainable, and more affordable, unlocking mass EV adoption through innovative engineering and smart technology.
