Founded by Varun Agarwal and Amit Goel, Aap Ka Bazar® (AKB) has grown from a humble kirana shop in 2005 into a full-fledged grocery ecosystem spanning apps, websites, and multiple family-friendly stores. The journey began with just ₹50,000 investment and fewer than 100 customers. The founders personally managed sales and purchases, often riding a two-wheeler to keep the business running. Despite limited resources, they believed in the mantra “Karm Hi Pooja Hai” — devotion through hard work. Early mornings and late nights became routine, laying the foundation for what AKB is today.
Guided by Vikas Agrawal, the eldest brother, and strengthened by the expertise of Akash Agrawal, a former chartered accountant, the team expanded steadily. With discipline and unity, AKB grew from one store to two, then three, four, and eventually entered the online space in 2021.
Today, AKB offers everything from spices, grains, pulses, and dry fruits to ready-to-eat meals, organic products, bakery items, beverages, cosmetics, and pet food. Customers can shop in-store or enjoy timely home delivery through the AapKaBazar app, backed by easy return, refund, and exchange facilities.
The brand’s philosophy is simple: quality and trust. Every product is curated to ensure customer satisfaction, making AKB not just a grocery store but a reliable partner for families. Thousands of customers are served daily, and the founders envision reaching lakhs in the near future.
