Lenskart Solutions Limited, earlier known as Lenskart Solutions Private Limited, is a technology-driven eyewear company built on the belief that clear vision is fundamental to personal development and well-being. Founded with the mission to improve access to affordable and quality eyewear for all, Lenskart has become India’s eyewear giant.
The company sells a wide range of products including prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and eyewear accessories. Its brands are designed to be aspirational, appealing to diverse customer segments across India and beyond.
In the first quarter of FY27, Lenskart reported a 34% year-on-year revenue growth and a 182% jump in net profit to ₹228 crore. The company’s EBITDA grew 61%, while consolidated product margins exceeded 70% for the first time.
India remains the core growth driver, with revenue up 30.7% and same-store sales growth of 18.3%. International markets also contributed significantly, with revenue rising 38%. This dual growth trajectory highlights Lenskart’s strong positioning both domestically and globally.
The company estimates that 78 crore Indians currently need vision correction, a number expected to rise to 94 crore by FY30. While Lenskart has long focused on affordable, mass-market eyewear, it now sees a major opportunity in the premium segment.
To capture this market, Lenskart has introduced premium brands such as John Jacobs and Meller, along with new partnerships that expand its exposure to aspirational eyewear. These offerings are designed to meet the evolving preferences of India’s upwardly mobile consumers.
At the same time, Lenskart continues to democratize access with its ₹500 eyewear proposition through Hustlr Plus, aimed at bringing new consumers into the market. This dual strategy ensures inclusivity while tapping into premium demand.
Looking ahead, Lenskart is building the supply chain and tech stack India’s ₹13 lakh crore construction industry has never had for eyewear — combining affordability, accessibility, and aspirational design to redefine how India sees the world.
